Testimonials

Dr. Giesbrecht,

I just wanted to say thank you for the professional dental service you and your assistant provided for me. It made coming to the dentist so easy. I look forward to seeing you for the additional dental work after the New Year. Thank you once again.

Sincerely,

Cam Fontaine

Dear Dr. Giesbrecht,

Sleep dentistry was the answer for my concerns about pain and angst in the dental chair. I arrived relaxed for my appointment, feeling able to let go and let you and Melanie do your job. The sleep dentistry allowed me to loosen up and sleep with my Walkman music and eye mask. I left your office feeling good, with no pain or muscle ache, and with minimal pain killers. In fact, people who saw me later that day said that I looked great considering I had just come home from a four hour dental visit.

I don’t remember much about the appointment, mostly that it went quickly and painlessly. I thoroughly recommend sleep dentistry for anyone with concerns regarding dental pain or distress.

Sincerely,

Kathleen Brightwell-Parke

Dear Dr. Giesbrecht,

I have been fearful of anything that had to do with the dentists office since I was a child - blame it on Jimmy, my friend when I made my first trip to the dentist. He told me if I had a cavity, the dentist would use a drill like my father used in his household repairs. Naturally, when I was told I had a "little cavity" - I went over the edge - lots of crying - they had to call my Mom into the room to try and calm me down - it was NASTY.

I underwent sleep dentistry with Dr. Giesbrecht recently, and am the biggest fan of it. The morning pill at home calmed me down before I stepped foot in the office, and it was smooth sailing for the entire appointment. There was no anxiety before, during, or after my procedure - which is a first for me. After my daughter brought me home, I had a nice nap - then felt completely normal with no pain after! It was great.

So, Jimmy, wherever you are.....I'm over it! I will never be afraid of major procedures again. Thank you Dr. Giesbrecht and your staff.

Dear Dr. Giesbrecht,

IMy experience with Sleep Dentistry was a very good experience. I chose this procedure because I was having extensive work done. I had all my teeth crowned, so that involved 8 hours of Sleep Dentistry for the uppers and front lowers, and 4 1/2 hours for the remaining lowers.

I did sleep throughout most of this and remember very little. The discomfort following the procedures was 'zero'. I only had to take Advil for one day. I felt absolutely no after-pain. The work that was done on my teeth was very extensive, as most of my teeth were loaded with silver and alot of decay.

I would thoroughly reccommend Sleep Dentistry to anyone as there is no pain involved, and a whole set of pearly whites can be achieved in a few sessions.

Dr. Giesbrecht and all his staff are very professional and compassionate in everything they do. I had a blast and am so happy with the end result, along with the fact that I could go on with my normal routines as if it was all a happy dream.

But the dream did come true - thanks to the best dentist on the planet!

I am sorry to point out the negative to this whole experience, but I feel it is my obligation to warn you; the worst part was having to drink that massively large-super-humungeous-outrageously-generous larger than life glass of Gatorade. After 8 hours it was delicious. After 4 1/2 hours I wanted to gag. I would rather had a Martini - no - maybe a cup of coffee. Thank you so much to my heroes - Dr. Giesbrecht and the Gals.

Dear Dr. Giesbrecht,

In our world we often find our lives have become so full that the important things are left to the side for 'another time'.

You spent much of your time over several years attending to my dental health by examining, counseling, advising and doing the 'dirty work' to ensure I could be at ease with my mouth. Yes, we do get paid for our time and expertise, however we often do not get the positive feedback that truly makes our work meaningful.

Over the may times I visited your and yoru staff, you consistenly demonstrated a very high level of professional skill and kind caring. In fact, not once did I ever feel pain throughout any procedure at your office. Over the years as I recall, your work on my teeth included crowns, fillings, a root canal, a bridge and the usual cleanings and maintenence.

As a child I grew up in a poor family where dental care and knowledge was minimal. By my early teens I had lost several teeth, in particular my left, top front tooth. Being hit by a 1958 Pontiac at 7 years of age left some scares, the deepest of which was a smile that I was not proud of. My parents never acted to get my missing tooth replaced, and so I lived with my incomplete smile into my 20's. After university I could finally afford to fix my gap and I found you.

It is difficult to describe the effect my missing tooth had on my life, but suffice to say that for the past 14 years I have been training myself to smile freely and fully again. As a teacher, my smile is a critically important gift. A a parent, my children modle me also, smiling as I smile.

Dr. Giesbrecht, I want you to know how appreciative I am that God gave you the gifts of caring, excellent dentistry, and that in his great plan for my life, he directed me to you. To this date your work continues to support my in my daily life and work with children. I often think of you and your excellent staff.

I pray that you continue your work helping others as you helped me.

With respect and admiration,

Jim Sangster

Dear Dr. Giesbrecht,

"I have been a dental patient of Dr. Frank Giesbrecht for three years, since August 1997. I have found that he is knowledgeable and competent in his practice and very advanced in his use of modern dental materials.
Well before I met Dr. Giesbrecht in 1997 he had been studying this topic of dental materials. to his credit he had also been attending the very excellent seminars being given by the eminent Dr. H. Huggins of Colorado. This impressed me very much, since I had myself read Dr. Huggins ground breaking 1993 book.
In fact use of advanced dental materials is on reason Dr. Giesbrecht's treatment is far superior to most. His patients benefit from the very latest, most modern dental materials. His patients are also completely informed concerning chemical composition of dental materials and completely informed as to their biological compatibility. I can recommend Dr. Giesbrecht highly."

Dear Dr. Giesbrecht,

"As someone that has suffered many years of anxiety and fear of dentists, I was always hoping that by some miracle there would come a day when I could just call a dentist and walk in like everyone else without the stomach aches and anxiety attacks that preceded every appointment, and the last minute cancellations when I lost my nerve to go to the dentists that were condescending and impatient. When I heard of sleep dentistry, I was doubtful, I figured I would be the one person who still felt pain, or the one person it wouldn't work for; but I felt I had nothing to lose as it couldn't be any worse than what I had been going through. After having experienced sleep dentistry I would never have work done any other way, not only was there no IV to put you to sleep, there was no pain from any of the dental work or bad memories to bring to the next appointment and no negative feelings toward the dentist himself. I have never met a more caring group than at Dr. Giesbrecht's office, they are a wonderful, caring group of people who hold each other accountable for their patient treatment, and take the time to show they have a genuine interest in you as a person as well as a patient. Sleep dentistry has completely set me free, and although the procedure itself is wonderful, it has been Dr. Giesbrecht and his staff that have made it a joy."

Many Thanks,
