Dr. Frank Giesbrecht
Dr. Frank Giesbrecht graduated from the University of Manitoba School of Dentistry in 1970. He received awards every year in the Faculty of Dentistry for his academic and clinical excellence. He engaged in a brief five year career as a Dental Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, gaining an honourable discharge and retiring with the rank of Major. Following his departure from military life he relocated his family to Calgary where he would continue to practice to this day.
Dr. Giesbrecht has practiced general dentistry in Calgary for over 30 years and has continued to study and become proficient in a variety of other specialties; namely neuromuscular and sedation dentistry. After selling his own practice in the winter of 2005, he took some time for travel and rest and then joined the team at Sierra Dental as an Associate Dentist.
Frank has two young grandchildren and has found his new role as a "grandparent," to be quite thrilling. Aside from interests in tennis and golf, his most keen interest is his leadership role of an Alpha Programe at his church.Dr. Giesbrecht continues his passion for dentistry and looks forward to continuing his beloved profession as an Associate at Sierra Dental for many years in the future.
